As you can see from the samples above, our sandstone is rich with colour due to the minerals that have leached through the quarry over thousands of years. These minerals give a banding of browns, golds, oranges and white and therefore makes every piece of sandstone unique, no two pieces are alike. Agthor Sandstone can be applied over existing brickwork, besser blocks and panels, and texture board (blue board), i.e. any sound flat surface. Unlike limestone and manufactured (imitation) stone, this product is multi-coloured and will not turn green after weathering or if constantly wet. Each piece is individually cut and chipped to enhance the unique features of this natural product. Agthor Sandstone, when incorporated with fire resistant cladding and fire resistant building components to the Australian standards, will give the maximum protection affordable in a high fire risk area plus enhance the value of your property. We also carry a substantial supply of decorative garden rocks in both large and medium sizes in black and white at $20.00 per 20kg (plus GST). These are available from 66 McCormicks Road, Skye, 3977. These rocks and pebbles are perfect for enhancing garden beds, water features, etc.
